Within the Provincial Active Aging Program 2016', the Social Services Area has allocated 30,000 euros so that seniors in 43 towns in the province can take ICT training courses. These initiation and improvement courses in ICT, with capacity for a maximum of 20 people, last 32 hours each and their objective is none other than to make known and train the elderly in the province in the use and possibilities of the computer, access to the network and Internet browsing, knowledge of portals and network platforms of official, social, health and leisure interest for seniors and the uses of email and communication through the Internet.
Finally, remember that for the development of these courses it is an essential requirement that the town has a premises or classroom with computers and Internet access and is made available to the requesting association to carry out the activity, by the City Council. or the Administration responsible for the classroom and its material.
